Request: Title and author please

I am trying to think of the title of a book that I had in the library about
10-12 years ago.  The title could have been, A Fish in My Pocket.  It was
about a little boy or bear that went fishing and kept the fish in his back
pocket.  One of my former student's would like to get it for his child.  I
thought it was by David McPhail, but I have looked and can't find it.
