TAR: Book Title Needed

I guess I'll now join the ranks of those who are stumped.  A fellow =
teacher wants to find an old book about a birthday party.  She remembers =
the cover being pink with balloons on it.  It is the story of a family =
planning a surprise party for their mother and saying something like, =
don't tell Father, he can't keep a secret.  Thanks for your help.
