Dear Ol' Wise Ones,
I never cease to be amazed at the things I learn from LM_NET! So I decided
to try you on this one. I am planning to purchase new library furniture this year,
something that hasn't been done on this campus in probably 50 yrs. So I want to
make the best decisions I can toward new furniture as it may have to last another
50 years.
I am looking at purchasing either Texwood laminate tables and chairs or
Community Lincoln tables and chairs with a laminate top. I was wondering does
anyone have any comments about the durability of either and how you like them, do
they look nice, etc. Also, I can't decide whether to buy all round tables which I
like and think are more "friendly" or rectangle tables. They would both be the
size that would fit 4 chairs comfortably. My library space would accomodate
either. Please let me know your thoughts as maybe that will help me make up my
mind. If you want you can write to me personally or to the whole group where
someone else might benefit from you wise counsel!!
