Barbara, you did not miss anything. Perhaps your local PO employees are
just not familiar with all of the upcoming stamp releases. It took a
bit of searching on the USPS website, but here is a link:

According to the list of release dates - March 2 2004.
(if it doesn't work, go to www.usps.com --> buy stamps --> collectors
corner --> release dates )
