Target: 100th day of school

Good morning,   our first grade teachers are celebrating the 100th day
of school (this Friday according to our calendar)  the children will be
bringing in 100 items (marshmallows, buttons, pennies,  raisins) small
enough to fit in one small Ziploc bag, plus they will be counting
backwards, by tens and fives,  reading Emily's first 100 days of school;



However they wanted to know if anybody else out there has done something
similar or have further suggestions for this activity,  any and all
ideas are welcome.
