Hi Netters--

Re Sue La Violette's hit of a handful of books about Asian children, for a
wonderful resource of many more books, websites, and media about Asian studies,
don't forget to buy a copy of GlobaLinks : Resources for Asian Studies, Grades
K-8 by LM_NET's own Peggy Beck, and the companion volume, Globalinks:
Resources for World Studies, Grades K-8 (both from Linworth) for your professional
collection.

"A good addition to a professional library, this book lists print, media, and
computer resources for studies of Asia and its individual countries. An
introduction section gives hints and tips, then the book is divided into print and
nonprint, web sites, keypal/penpal sections. World resources web sites and
indexes are given at the end."
