LM_NET Archive



I agree.  I have saved some on manners from the 50s, especially for the
chapters on getting along at school,  and one on how to plan a successful
party from the same era.  There's a 60 question quiz at the end of one of
the manners books.  "If a teacher stops to speak to you while you are eating
lunch, is it necessary that you rise?"  (YES)  "Is it considered good
manners to chew gum in public?" (NO)
