Yes, we have Bibles in our collection...the standard versions plus a
more modern one. We also have the Koran, the Tibetan Book of Living and
Dying, Buddhism for Dummies, African Religions and Philosophy, the
Druids, Wicca: a Guide, and the Gnostic Gospels. For what it's worth, we
have the Communist Manifesto and Mein Kampf, too. A former staff member,
blessedly retired now, noted that "I can tell what you're trying to
do...you're trying to offend everyone equally," and I rather cynically
agreed, so we attempt to cover all bases.

Subject: TARGET:GEN:Bible in your library?

I am asking this for a friend who is working on his Master's. I just
need
to know-- yes or no--do you have a Bible in your library (and/or other
religious text, if you have time to add that) and if you are elem,
middle or
high school.
Thank you for any responses you may be able to give,
Julia Steger, Librarian, Clifton Middle School, Covington VA
