SEC:What Happened to Lani Garver?

Hello all!  I have just finished reading "What Happened to Lani Garver" by
Carol Plum-Ucci and am very intrigued by this book.  However, I don't know
who to recommend it to.  I am a public library director with a high school
librarian's heart (love my public library but also love my teenagers).  To
me, this book doesn't fit in any of the normal "boxes" as Lani would say.
It is not really a mystery, romance, fantasy, etc.  Also, many of the
teenagers that come in my library are homeschooled and are very religious,
so I don't want to offend, by both the language and subject matter.  Who
would you all recommend it to?  It is too good of a book to let sit on a
shelf and not be checked out, and it teaches such a powerful lesson to all
ages.  Any opinions are appreciated, and can be sent to the email address
