Does anyone have a set of lesson plans to use at the middle school level to teach students how to do research; i.e. using databases, using the OPAC, avoiding plagiarism, note taking, and evaluating websites? I've created a couple of power point presentations but was wondering if someone has already created something that is integrated and has some logical flow. I will be involved with a technology class with our 7th graders and was wondering if anyone has a pkg that they have put together perhaps even on their website. I have two books that are moderately helpful: THE LIBRARY-CLASSROOM PARTNERSHIP; TEACHING LIBRARY MEDIA SKILLS IN MIDDLE AND JUNIOR HIG SCHOOLS by Rosann Jweid and EMPOWERING STUDENTS WITH TECHNOLOGY by Alan November. Thanks!!
