In response to my previous post, "Locus" is an old, well established sci
fi & fantasy monthly magazine usually available at Borders, Barnes And
Noble, and probably other booksellers with a large magazine inventory.
Locus does have a website, but I am not sure the current articles are
available. The website is:

http://www.locusmag.com

I subscribe because I find the magazine useful for information on sci
fi, fantasy, and horror titles. Genre award winners and current
bestselling titles are listed. Since sci fi, fantasy, and horror are
the three genres most in demand by the students, I am always interested
in titles to strengthen these areas.

It is a publication you might consider picking up every so often. This
issue also has an article: "What Is This Thing Called YA?" by Garth Nix.

According to "Locus", these are the most notable "YA" titles of 2003.
