I keep a ring binder with a seating chart for each class. When I open the binder the seating chart is on the right and on the left ( which is actually the back of the previous class's seating chart) I keep track of everything that I do with that class including stories that I have read to them. On the seating chart I also keep the telephone numbers of problem children. This way if any administrator wants to see what is going on, it is all there in black and white. This is my 39th year of teaching and the old brain "ain't what it use to be" so this helps to keep everything on track. Phyllis Roche R.T.
