HIT: Appleworks bookmarks

Whoops!  I forgot to fill in the subject line - sorry!  Here is the HIT
again:

I only got 3 responses but they all look like they will work for our
project.  I also had a few responses for a HIT so here are the tips I
received:

In word processing under file change Page Setup to Landscape and then
hit the columns button to create 3 or columns to the size bookmark you
want....3 or 4 to a page.

I've used this with my elementary students.  It may be more fun than
tweeking Appleworks.

I make bookmarks in appleworks often, though
I use various fonts that won't always come through
on your computer.

I'll attach one for you to look at. You can delete the graphics and text.
You can see the simple layout I use. You may want to make bookmark sized
rectangles in a light gray to facilitate cutting, but won't mar the
bookmarks
themselves when students decorate them.
