Hi all-
I was wondering if anyone does anything for the African-American Read-In Chain on
February 2 which is sponsored by the Black Caucus of NCTE. My principal would
like me to do something and suggested possibly having a parent come in and read to
students. Has anyone ever done this ? She also asked if she could invite
administrators to come in and join us. Any suggestions would be helpful on how
best to do this. Also, what do you do with the kids when the administrators are
having coffee? This is my second year and I am really new at all this. Thanks in
advance for your help!
