For book reviews at the high school level, I find these to be the best; Library Media Connection (formerly book report) from Linworth VOYA (from ALA/YALSA Science Books & Films from American Association for the Advancement of Science Professional journals in the specific subject areas i.e. American Biology= Teacher will often have book reviews at the back. I have found some great= titles this way. The first 3 I pay for out of my own pocket. I used to get School Library Journal at school, but the cost compared to what I got out of it meant that I had to stop that title. I would have liked to continue receiving it for the articles but not especially for th= e reviews. VOYA focuses more on the level and genre of books for my library= and LMC does a good job of showcasing titles that go across multiple levels. My opinion anyway. Deborah J. Stafford Gen. H.H.
