Famous African American websites

Hello,
       I was approached by a teacher today who told me he wants his students
to come to the library Tues., Wed and Thursday to research famous African
Americans. He told them it could be anyone they admire. He wanted me to find some
websites for historical, athletes, authors, famous singers or actors. I
thought I'd consult my wonderful group of professionals for some advice on some good
ones they might like to share with me. He wants these websites saved to
favorites so they don't waste valuable time searching the Internet themselves. I'd
appreciate any suggestions you might have for me.
