LM_NET Archive



I always tried not to catalog abridged works - it was
very difficult to explain to students - invariably a
student would pick a book that was abridged and read
fro a class assignment --

Now we could get into a discussion of the teacher
should have lookoed at the book or the student should
have asked, etc. etc. reality - they don't -
I always felt I had more pressing issues than to worry
about havcing this kind of problem - I just donated
abridged works on to someone else.
