Some ideas: How about some of the issues involved in weeding or collection building? Budget v currency, personal beliefs and predilections v balance, what exactly is 'non-curriculum' (can you justify buying graphic novels or car magazines as promoting reading?). How edgy can you go in a booktalk or in collection building? How do you follow 'local standards and sensitivity' in a mobile society or accommodate a wide range of reading levels, interests, ages, etc? Balancing reading literacy promotion and information literacy promotion/teaching?
