I read the message on the free birthday kit being offered for the celebration
of Tomie dePaola's 70th birthday on Sept. 15 and have tried without success,
to locate the exact ordering information. I tried the website for Penguin
books with no luck, then did a google search and tried Tomie's own website, also
with no mention of the kit being offered. Finally, I tried another google link
to Busy Teachers Community where several teachers discussed their similar
problems in locating the ordering information. It was mentioned by one that it was
not a website, but an e-mail address to write to without the e-mail address
being given. Does anyone know more? I always do a unit on Tomie dePaola and
would love to get this kit if it is still being offered. All of the messages I
read on the Busy Teachers site were from early June. Maybe the kit is no longer
being offered??
