Sarah:
Take your passport, if you have one. That's the easiest. If not, plan to
have the 2 forms of ID. It's not as difficult to pass into Canada as it
is to return to the US, but crossing at the Detroit/Windsor has been a
hassle off-and-on for 25 years. (Formerly from A2, we made frequent
day-trips across the border)

I am going to be attending a non-library conference in Detroit this
summer. Part of it involves a bus tour that will cross into Canada. They
cautioned us to bring 2 types of ID and suggested a drivers license and
a birth certificate. Has anybody crossed into Canada and back lately?
What did they require? Any suggestions? Thanks
