Hi Folks-
Yesterday's NY Times had an interesing article about this. This is the first 
selection
Oprah has not actually read in advance,  a risk in my mind, speaking as a former
English teacher. The couple who wrote the translation Oprah is recommending, an
American couple living in France, were shocked when their publisher called to tell 
them
they would be printing 800,000 copies this year. They said they are happy when they
sell 20,000. They had no idea who Oprah was and what the hoopla was all
