School just ended here in Western Washington and our middle school of 700
students is without a librarian (library media specialist).  We are looking
for someone who would take an active part in teaching, not just focus on
maintaining resources.  It's a wonderful opportunity for someone who is
looking for a small district (1 middle , 1 sr. high, 3 elementaries) where
you know and are known by the superintendant and all of the board members.
I enjoy teaching in the Riverview district so much that I commute 45 minutes
(if I am lucky) each way to do it.  If you know of someone good who is
interested in such a position, please pass this posting on.  The library is
such an important part of a school  - we have to get someone good!
