Adapting Dewey for K-5: how have you done it?

Several people asked about the paper I wrote (over 10 years ago, my,
how time flies when you're having fun!) about adapting classification
for K-5 libraries.  I will post it separately.  (It may come in two
parts).  I would love to hear from people who have made adaptations
in their sections for ages below grade 6.  I keep having fantasies
about creating a system that could be adapted to meet specific
schools' needs.  Maybe in ten years when I retire.
