To All: I know this question has come up before, but I am still stumped and I am hoping someone has a definitive answer. I am the co-chair of the Arizona Young Reader Award Committee for the Arizona Library Association. I put together a web site each year listing the nominated books and links for lesson plans, author studies, etc. I asked permission from the local Follett representative to use the graphics (of the cover of each book) from Titlewave to post on the web site. He told me it was not a problem. Now it is my understanding (from a colleague) that I need to get permission from each individual publisher of these books (30) in order to post the graphic of the cover. Does anyone know if I may use them or if I need to write each publisher? This web site is strictly used to promote the Arizona Young Reader Award. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
