Finally a book has been written about Plainfield Juvenile Correctional Facility 
formally known as Indiana Boys School.  Boys School was founded in 1867 as a home 
for unwanted boys.  If you are interested in purchasing this book, the teacher that 
wrote it is selling it for $15.00 .....$18.00 if you want a CD of all the pictures 
from the turn of the century to today.  I was one of the tireless researcher for 
the book..........I learned a lot about the development of the prison that I teach 
in today and the surrounding community. The book is a wealth of information about 
the Plainfield area with fantastic maps.
