LM_NET Archive



It cracks me up that the stereotype of the silent library continues even
in my school where the library is NEVER quiet.  We always have 15-20 kids in
working on assignments and studying (of sorts) over and above whatever
classes happen to be booked in.  This is in a library that is supposed to
seat maximum 70.  Do the math - 2 classes of 30 each plus the 15-20 extra
with 70 chairs.  We usually have some kids sitting on the floor in the
various different corners around the room.  Silent?  HAH!
