T.A. Barron's heroes materials and prize

Dear LM_NET List Serv,
The Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes, founded by young adult author T.A.
Barron, offers librarians and educators a free set of materials to use in
exploring the concept of heroes with their students. Materials include a
Heroes Curriculum and Discussion Guide (grades 5 to 9), and a Heroes
Bibliography (grades K-12). The Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes honors
young leaders ages 8 to 18 who have made a significant positive difference
to people and our planet. Winners each receive $2,000. Nomination deadline
for the 2004 prize is April 30. To obtain a free set of the heroes materials
