TECH: OT: email address problem

This morning I got two interesting posts. One was an autoresponder
from the White House thanking me for my email to President Bush.
Another was a request to confirm my joining the Yahoo group "sln". I
didn't initiate either of these. I didn't write to Bush and if I had
joined sln through Yahoo Groups, it wouldn't have been with this
email address.

The autoresponder had this in the message:
In addition to President@WhiteHouse.gov, we have developed White House Web
Mail, an automated e-mail response system.  Please access
http://www.whitehouse.gov/webmail to submit comments on a specific issue.

and the full header says:
