I have a feeling that this is really about 'leveling' libraries =
according to reading level.  Several people have posted this year about =
their administrators bringing this up.  I certainly hope that we prevail =
in this!

Thanks so much for all the responses to my question about ridding K-8
libraries of the Dewey Decimal System!  It must have been an urban
legend, or a bad dream.  Only one response out of twenty-some indicated
a rumbling of a rumor heard and asked me to post a hit.  I won't list
the individual responses because there was no controversy.  Suffice it
to say that we are keeping Dewey in our library, and so are all of you
