Author of "Geronimo"

An email came out near the end of January with the following
quote in it. I sent it to a teacher who is working on her
masters and she would like to use it in a paper- of course, due
tomorrow- but needs to be able to give credit. We both, of course,
deleted the email it was from.
Can anyone remember this?
