Fellow librarians: Olive's Ocean is a must-include in any school library. The instances of profane language are very minimal whereas the text is well written, the theme quite timely, and the overall work very beautiful. Frankly, there are many YA and children's books out there with much worse language in them than Olive's Ocean. Besides, I always thought our job is assess the product as a whole, not to focus on any one aspect of the work......
