APPLY FOR THE PIED PIPER AWARD

Everyone knows that youth services/school librarians create eye catching,
imaginative, and innovative flyers, bookmarks and program announcements. It is
time for youth services/ school librarians to stand up and be recognized! The
Pied Piper Award Committee actively seeks these clever publications for
consideration for the Pied Piper Award.

Awarded annually, the Pied Piper Award recognized excellence in printed
materials that have been prepared to further library services to youth in or by a
New York State library. The award, a framed certificate, is presented to the
individual and /or library most responsible for the creation and production of
the publication. The recipient is recognized at both the YSS Annual Membership
Meeting and the NYLA Awards Banquet at the annual conference.

All entries must be postmarked by June 1.
