Hi LM_NETters, Denver Public Schools is investigating video-on-demand over the = Internet. There are at least two companies that I know of that offer = subscripion services to large video and graphic libraries that can be = accessed by teachers at school and at home. DPS is seeking information = about which company may offer the following: the best quality and = selection of video; the best tie in to state and/or district standards; = the easiest access / smooth operation for teachers; the least impact on = the district network; and the best customer service. The two major companies that we are doing research into are United = Learning/United Streaming and AIMS Digital Curriculum. Let us know your = thoughts, experiences with either of these. If you know of another = similar company, we'd like to hear about that, too. =20 Thanks in advance for your input.=20 Jody Gehrig, Director Educational Resource Services Denver Public Schools =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=- All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
