Buckeye Hello,
As President of the Buckeye Children's/Teen Buckeye Award, I am =
interested in creating a definitive list of State Book Awards. In a =
previous target asking for this information, some of you pointed me to =
Titlewave. Titlewave does not have exactly what I want.Another person =
pointed to CBC. CBC charges for this information.
Here's what I want. I want someone from each state to send information =
about their state's book award. Please include the name of the award and =
a contact person. I am particularly interested in a web address for each =
book award.
When this list is completed, I will post the information to the LM Net. =
Promise.
Why do I want this information? Our state is attempting to improve our =
award. We want to learn from others and share with others. I am also =
interested in having a meeting with other book award leaders at an ALA =
conference--maybe this summer if I can get it together.
Please take 10 minutes of your time to e-mail me your state's =
information and website. I will inform LM Net as to which states I've =
received so you don't waste time duplicating information.
