LM_NET Archive



Our English teachers are looking to update the required readings for their
classes. They are interested in contemporary American and British
authors/books. Upbeat books would be particularly appealing, but any
compelling story (for instance, "Speak" by Anderson)would be acceptable. Our
student body is largely made up of reluctant readers (unfortunately)who are
becoming increasingly unmotivated by the current readings. TIA!
