If you are a Middle School librarian/media specialist who follows a fixed or fixed/flexible schedule, I am interested in hearing about your day. After years of working in a K-5 library, I am now in a 6-8 building and while I love it, it is extremely different from K-5. I currently teach all of the sixth graders one period every other week. All teachers in the building can sign up to use the library any periods that I am not teaching the 6th graders. I am getting a pretty good turnout right now, but have some issues with not being able to provide everything to everyone. So, I don't really have a question, I'd just like to hear how you "run" your middle school library and see if I can "borrow" any of your ideas !
