When in difficulty try books. The Oxford Encyclopedia of Ancient Egypt has 5
pages on crowns which should answer your question. I will try faxing the
pages. If no one else sends you an answer.
When I have specialized questions I often find the listserv for that
speciality and then go on for a day and post the question and then
unsubscribe after getting my answer. Sometimes this even puts stgudents in
contact with a real expert.
I also sometimes post questions to the reference listserv "Stumpers".
