Have teachers in your schools taught Forgotten Fire by Adam Bagdasarian? We have a book challenge in process at the middle school where I work. It was being taught in a seventh grade class, but several parents complained that the depictions of violence were too harsh for their students. One parent has begun the challenge procedure.
