Thank you Barbara. Let us not forget the reason for the assignment. This is not a doctoral dissertation. How long will ANY resource from the internet be available at the indicated URL? The problems with ERIC and other databases show that URL's even for distinguished sites can be changed. The citation in an elementary report is only going to be relevant and needed for the time surrounding the production of the report. An assignment like this in the early elementary grades does not need to be in APA or any other standard format. Keep citations simple in the early years and then add details later.
