Many, many thanks to all of you who responded to my question about fixed/block scheduling. I have been agonizing so over not being able to implement full flexible scheduling as I have so often dreamed. It seems, from the many responses in which I received, that I am not ALONE! I have discovered that I have many positives going for me at my soon-to-be new elem. school--a beautiful library, a knowledgable assistant and a full time tech! So...thanks again to all of you out there who have helped me to see the positive side of my new library position and the multitude of creative ways to be a fantastice media specilist...even if everything isn't PERFECT.
