HIT: specific economic information for local area and US

Hello, everyone;

My original message read: "Our Resource Reading teacher has a class of
10-12 graders who need
extra help in reading and writing skills. She guides and assists them in all
of their mainstream assignments. Their economics teacher has assigned a
research project for the entire class to find data on the economic
statistics for our local Potter County, PA and compare them to the economic
stats for the rest of the nation, to show how we measure up."

 I promised a HIT, but was too tired to send it on Tuesday, as  promised. So
I'll share my information now. I do appreciate the give-and-take  exchange
of all of our listerv members. I consider this teacher/librarian community
to be one of the best tools I have to expand and refine my knowledge to
better serve my students and faculty. Thank you so much!
