You are all so great at this.....
I'm hoping that you can help me with a title.

About 4 or 5 years ago, I read a book about a young African-American girl =
whose father dies. To help out at home, she accepts a job taking care of =
a young woman who had a debilitaing accident.... who's a real ingrate -- =
and an anry, bitter woman.
The young African American girl comes across some poetry that her father =
had written prior to his death that really helps her through the crisis of =
his death and helps her deal with her difficult working situation.

Hope that is enough information to spark some memories.
I have a student in mind that could probably really benefit from this =
book. Thanks in advance for the help of the collective genius.

Readingly yours,
Chris
