This is a project I developed last year. I received a mini-grant from
CEMA (Connecticut Educators Media Association) to help develop this project.
The project was working with students and teachers at different grade levels while
they were researching Mammals. I now have it posted on my LMC web site for a
limited time (until end of school year 2003-2004).
It includes:
Collaborative plan with materials for grades two and four.
Note-taking skills (packets for students)
Culminating projects included:
PowerPoint presentation
Written letters to “Zany Zookeeper” about what their mammal will need in a wildlife
park.
The students also created an iMovie on “How to make a presentation” and developed
additional iMovies on their mammals.
