Paraprofessionals

I am working on a presentation with a group about paraprofessionals in =
the library - school library - and would like input from librarians who =
have them. How does your district utilize them, are librarians split so =
they are there in place when the certified librarian is out, how is it =
decided how many you have, is there a shortage of certified librarians =
and para's are hired in place, and how does budget fit into the picture =
or retirement of certified people. If there are any other issues which =
you feel are important for us to examine please let me know that too. I =
and my group appreciate your help.
