Hi, oh wonders of wonders!!!!
I don't know if I'm tired or just brain dead. However, one of our 6th =
grade teachers wants books that can support the instruction of metaphors =
and/or similes. She would be happy with picture books for older students =
or novels. I just can't come up with anything. In the back of my mind =
I'm thinking that there is something like collective nouns, prepositions, =
verbs from Ruth Heller.... but just can't get my brain to come up with =
anything.
If you're more awake, alert, or with it than I am, and you can think of =
some books, please contact me.
I'll send out a HIT when I get the responses.
Thanks sooooooo much! I've helped this particular teacher in the past and =
she's always been pleased with my suggestions. I don't want to disappoint =
her this time.
