We have a student working on a reporton Napoleon and we'd like to find out
if there was a reason why he always posed for portraits with his hand
tucked into his shirt. One theory is that his hand was damaged from
syphilis but we can't find a source to prove this or otherwise. Anyone
have any sources on this?
