I am trying help with the configuration of our new leveled book room.
Are any of you involved with this concept in your school or have
knowledge of how things work? If so, can you help with some of the
How was the book set up - from teachers' classroom libraries, additional
monies, etc?
Who did the leveling: was it paid, on "volunteer" time,etc?
Did you notice a decrease in library funds to help establish the room?
Who maintains the collections in the leveled book rooms as far as the
checking in and out, inventory control, and keeping a catalog/database
of the books? Is this a part of someone's duty or is it a paid position?
Who does the selection of books for this room?
Any help you can send on would be greatly appreciated. I will post a hit.
