Hi everyone, As an experiment I've just added links to translations of my blog into 11 other languages, courtesy of Altavista's BabelFish technology. Users can now visit my blog and read it in English, Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Greek, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Of course, Babelfish and other free online translators often don't give a 100% accurate translation, though they're usually competent at getting the general idea across. So, I'm curious if there are any fluent speakers of any of these languages who'd be willing to visit my blog and click on the translation they can read, just to see if it's a legitmately useful tool or just a bunch of linguistic garbage. You can find my blog here: http://www.edwebproject.org/andy/blog/ From there, click the link for the appropriate language at the top of the page. All comments/suggestions are welcome, so please feel free to contact me off-list at acarvin @ edc.org. thanks! ------------------------------------------------- Andy Carvin Program Director EDC Center for Media & Community acarvin @ edc . org http://www.digitaldividenetwork.org ------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------- All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
