I can't let the discussion pass without giving credit to our seniors this year, for the best prank I've seen. They bought over 3000 plastic forks, and decorated the school lawn in the wee hours of the night by spelling out '04 and 2004 in forks, then surrounding those with a sea of forks (prongs up) stuck in the lawn. As I approached the school the next morning, it looked like Arlington, then like a field of snowbells, then finally you could see all the white was forks. It was only in a small part of the front lawn next to the school sign, but once the drivers and walkers slowed down, the '04 was very clear. The newspaper came and took a picture and dubbed it "The class of O-Fork" in the headline. Clever, no one was hurt....and no one disturbed the forks for at least a week. I think it showed the respect of the other students for the prank.
