TARGET ELEM: BIG-6 PD for teachers of grades 3-5

Hello All!

After many discussions and proposals the technology integration specialist
and I have been given the go ahead for hosting a 1 1/2 day  Big -6
professional development for teachers of grades 3-5.

I was lucky enough to haven taken a Big-6 class with Bob Berkowitz and I
feel as if I have a handle on passing the information on.
However.....,my question is has anyone already instructed teachers on Big-6?
  What was your format?  What where your outcomes?  What is a must to
include?

I am preparing the PD for this coming August.  My end goal of the project
would be to have each grade (as they work in teams) leave with at least two
of their "research projects"  re-written.

I am looking forward to the brilliant feedback of this group.
